The gentleman in the lobby was very nice and understanding. The AC in my room doesn’t seem to work, though. The only working unit is the window one in the bathroom. I’d definitely bring a box fan or something if you want to keep cool in these rooms. I don’t know whether all the rooms are like this, but mine is.

It was quiet and comfortable, and we even had a nice table and chairs for eating. The room decor was lovely, the king sized bed was fabulous, and the room was clean, with no bedbugs. My only complaints were the bathtub, which needs scrubbing with bleach, and the toilet seat, which needs replacing. That’s all, and we’ll definitely be back!

I stayed for a week and have video and pictures of the bed bugs and roaches. The room and bed were covered in them. When I told the owner, he handed me a spray bottle of alcohol and said not to worry if I saw a couple since the room had been sprayed. Whoever sprayed it must have missed a couple hundred on the pillows, between the sheets, and on the walls. The headboard was infested too, so the owner had maintenance remove it from the wall. Stay away unless you want bed bugs and roaches in your clothes, car, and house.

The bathroom was too nasty for me to shower in, and the room just wasn’t worth the price. At $40 a night, maybe, but $65 is too much.

The place is a little old and showing its age, but the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and there’s plenty of hot water. The water pressure is a bit low but okay. Claudia at the front desk was awesome! If you want all the bells and whistles of a newer motel, you’ll pay three times as much. I’ll be back 😁.
