Governor's Inn

The staff were great, the AC worked well, and there were no bad smells or bugs. The bed was a little firm but fine, and breakfast was good, with bagels, waffles, cereal, orange juice, apple juice, fruit, donuts, and coffee. The orange juice was especially good. We also saved on parking because there’s a shuttle to Busch Gardens. I’d stay here again.

For a budget hotel, this is a beautiful place. The rooms have two double beds, and ours were comfy. I checked for bugs and didn’t find any. Staff dealt with a small issue quickly and professionally. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers were a nice touch, and breakfast was quite large for a budget hotel. The orange juice was delicious.

I came for five days during the week of August 20 to unwind before going back to work, and loved it. The staff were friendly, informative, and easy to approach. Breakfast was good and enough for all the guests, and both the room and grounds were very clean. The pool was amazing. Colonial was only 3 to 4 blocks away, and there’s a shuttle to Buish gardens and the water park right in the parking lot. I went with two good friends, and I’m bringing the whole family to this inn next year. Good job!

We spent a week here with our teen daughter and found it easy to get around to the local attractions. It’s a good budget choice in a central spot, with no frills. The room was clean, and there was plenty of parking close by. Staff at the desk and housekeeping were great, and the pool was a nice size and very well kept. We had a small fridge, though a microwave would have been useful. Breakfast wasn’t hot, but cereal, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, toast, fruit, boiled eggs, and yogurt gave us enough to get going. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need to spend $150 a night.
