A side note: there were small children making noise everywhere, all the time, so this is apparently a kid-friendly place. My family had a great stay, and the suite was good. Check-in was the odd part. I had to visit one desk, then another to hear about the area, get coupons, and be told I should've contacted them before planning my whole trip. If the goal is to save me money, just make the rooms cheaper.

We stayed during the week of Christmas 2025, and the problems were awful. We found cockroaches in our room, including the master bathroom, kitchen counters, sink, cupboards, and dining area wall. We had to throw out the groceries we'd just bought and the food we'd brought from home, at least $200 worth. We also spent a lot to wash clothes for all five of us at a laundromat. It was an unexpected expense on top of wasted food, and the kitchen was one of the main reasons we booked so we could make meals. We complained and were moved to another room, but it had tons of ants. I called right away and was told someone would come spray. The next day, nobody had come, so I had to call again. The sofa bed mattress was horrible, thin, and very uncomfortable. They offered to put half the grocery cost back on the card as compensation. I said no, and they offered a free seven-day getaway instead. I accepted, thinking it was a great offer, but when I tried to redeem it, nothing was free. The hotels you'd actually want cost $1,000 or more, and even the crappy ones cost $200. We got screwed over. We'll never stay here again.

The lack of elevators is the main drawback. If stairs are hard for you, or you'll be carrying luggage up and down, make sure to request a first-floor room. Our two-bedroom suite with a sleeper sofa was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lots of room in both bedrooms, the bathrooms, living area, and kitchen. It felt like a full apartment, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big convenience. The resort was mostly quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the warm indoor and outdoor pools and spas, and the fitness center had plenty of workout options. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. They're clearly working to bring the resort up to the quality and consistency people expect from Hilton. We noticed a few things that needed attention and mentioned them at the front desk; staff seemed eager to address them for future guests. As Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond members and HGVC system owners, we were impressed by the conversion of this former Diamond Resorts property into Greensprings Vacation Resort by Hilton Grand Vacations in Williamsburg, Virginia. It's already comfortable and well managed, but some improvements are still being finalized, so I'm not giving it five stars. It's a very good Williamsburg option for families or anyone who wants extra space, apartment-style comfort, and a relaxing resort atmosphere. 👍

Peyton was the main person we contacted during the stay, and she was phenomenal. Texting the staff was so much easier than calling the front desk. When we needed something brought to the room, Peyton got it done quickly. She checked on us now and then, and even warned us one day that the pool had run out of towels, so we should bring our own. The resort is close to everything we needed, all a short drive away, and we'd definitely consider staying again on our next trip to Williamsburg. We had a great spring break week. The room was spacious and clean, though the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. I also wish a vacuum had been available; another resort we'd stayed at in the area a few years earlier had one in the room. The carpet was dusty and dirty. I doubt it gets cleaned with a wet vacuum, though maybe that's why they chose a dark color. The amenities were good, with lots for the kids to do. The heated indoor pool and basketball court were the highlights. It was still cool out, so we didn't try the outdoor pool, but it looked nice.

We had a great Spring Break and can't wait to come back. The staff were friendly, and there were fun Easter activities for the kids. When noise woke us at 1 am, the front desk took care of it within minutes. Our room had some damage, but I understand the whole resort is being remodeled and that will take time. The outdoor pool was closed, though the indoor pool and hot tub were great. It's near restaurants, shops, and Busch Gardens. We'd definitely recommend it.
