The Big Moose Lodge 16 Bedroom Home by Redawning

The scenery and cabin are beautiful, and we’ve already made some amazing memories here. I came with my church group, 52 women in all, and was surprised by how spacious it was. I shared a bunk room with seven other women and we had plenty of room, though the bathroom was on the small side. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, so we never had a steady connection. Looking forward to making more memories for the rest of the weekend, and there are some good spots for Instagram pictures.

We loved the mountain and nature views, and the two game machines were a nice bonus. Such a beautiful cabin for a family vacation.

Spent a good time with several friends, and the views and cabin amenities were great. The place is beginning to show its age, though. The main level stoves don’t match, and neither oven gets close to the temperature shown, which makes baking uncertain. The washer is very loud during the spin cycle and needs repair or replacement. The mountain-facing bunkroom floor has some serious uneven spots, though I don’t think they’re structural. Wi-Fi is spotty throughout the cabin, and the access points may need to be moved or replaced with a mesh network.

We’re here for a church men’s retreat, and the place has been awesome in all the ways that matter. The sleeping quarters, kitchen and dining room, and accommodations are all top notch. I especially like the sunrises and the spaces where you can get away and be alone with your thoughts.
