Lark Motel

Getting back on the road the next morning was easy after I could shower, clean up, and get organized. The place felt safe, was well maintained and up to date, and I could see around easily while walking my dog. I got a key at 8pm, parked my campervan right outside the room, and had a bed, TV, fridge, microwave, and huge bathroom with a hot shower. It was a perfect late-night stop for me, my campervan, and my dog. The price was right, and the layout suited us. I really don't want to drive the pch 1 (pacific coast highway) through Kings Range forest at night.

This was an affordable place when we really needed one, so thanks for that. It isn't upscale, and larger rooms with more amenities in this area would cost a lot more. A young mom was running the place on her own with her children, who were very dedicated to servicing the rooms. I was impressed by how determined she was to manage everything herself.

I needed to be in Willits for an early pre construction site visit, and since it's a good distance from both Oakland and Sacramento Airports, I arrived the day before. This was reasonably priced for an overnight. It was quiet and clean, the hot water came instantly, and they gave me extra pillows without any fuss. I'll stay here again.

I visit the area every month, and The Lark Motel is now my regular choice. They've renovated everything and improved the service, turning what used to be an average place into the best in town. It's clean and comfortable, and the people running it clearly care about their guests. Highly recommend.
