Whenever we’re in Wilmington, this is the hotel we love to stay at. The rooms are nice, the hotel is clean, and the beds are so comfortable. Everyone on staff is welcoming and in great spirits. The location is amazing too. You really can’t go wrong here.

Our suite was spacious, clean, and just right for the stay, with comfortable beds and an incredible view. We loved the location, and breakfast had lots of good choices, though fruit salad would be a nice addition. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and staff were helpful. One snag: the valet app doesn’t always notify the team. We waited more than ten minutes for the car, then went outside and learned the valet hadn’t received our request.

I had to leave before the complimentary breakfast began, but the woman working at the lobby Starbucks that morning was exceptionally kind and made my departure start on a great note. My two-room king suite at the Embassy Suites in Wilmington, NC was a great value, beautifully decorated, and had a spectacular river view. The bed was very comfortable. Parking in the adjacent garage was easy, and I could charge my vehicle overnight at no extra cost, with only the $15 parking fee due on exit.

We especially enjoyed the evening social, with complimentary drinks and snacks. The rooftop bar was fantastic and picturesque, with the battleship behind it. The hotel is beautiful and so well placed for walking to lots of things, and our guest room was updated, clean, and well kept. Staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived.

We had a great dinner at the second-floor restaurant, including a really good New York strip steak, and the bartender made great drinks. Check-in was friendly and the front desk was helpful. The rooms are very nice, and the hotel is extremely convenient for getting around downtown. We’ll stay here again when we’re in Wilmington.
