Residence Inn Wilmington Landfall

The rooms were huge and so clean, and the pull-out bed in the living room was more than comfortable. I stayed with a girlfriend during the snowstorm since we both work at Landfall Shopping Center. This was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

I spent a week here while looking for a house in the area and had a great stay. The spacious, comfortable room had a gas fireplace, which I loved. Breakfast offered a nice variety, and I used the gym often. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was great. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

We were visiting family and wanted somewhere away from the beach for an off-season stay. Residence Inn is usually our go-to for the separate bedroom and kitchenette, and this one is in a nice area, but the price doesn’t match what you get. The room was old, though clean, and the staff seemed pleasant at check-in. The bed wasn’t on its frame, leaving a brace about 8 inches out where someone could trip or get hurt. The frame was crooked under the box spring. It was too late to tell the desk that night, so I’ll mention it in the morning. The tub’s patch was lifting, and the loose faucet kept turning when I tried to turn on the hot water, as if it had no stop. The bathroom needs a major redo, with all the recaulking and attempted fixes. There were also fire ant mounds on the curbs beside the parking spots.

I ran into a personal problem and needed a room I could check into at 8 AM. Everyone else I called said no, but Frank was wonderful and figured it out for me. The other desk worker I met was lovely too. Best experience at a hotel.
