The quiet setting made this a really peaceful stay, and it was convenient for getting to Danville and Harrodsburg. My mother-in-law and I spent a week at The Asbury Inn while we were in town for the birth of my first grandbaby. The place was super clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast had plenty of choices. A few mornings the coffee was a bit weak, but that’s my only complaint. They don’t allow alcohol or smoking, so it’s not a place for partying. It sits on the grounds of a theological college and seminary, which gives it a serene feel. Thanks to the staff for working hard to keep the place in good shape and make our visit pleasant. I’ll book here again when I visit my daughter and her family.

The breakfast was a nice surprise, decent and generous even if it wasn’t outstanding. The rooms felt older, but they were clean and well maintained, and the whole place had a lovely, charming atmosphere that felt quieter, gentler, and safer. The front desk staff were delightful, warm, humble, and kind. One manager, Anna, was the exception. Her haughty, off-putting attitude didn’t match the service from her colleagues, and she ought to have staff training. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend it.

For anyone going to the seminary or attending an event, this Inn is a great option. It’s very clean and quiet, gets you there quickly and easily, and should meet most people’s needs. I highly recommend it.
