The room was simple, as you'd expect from Tru, and everything worked. The blackout shade did its job, and the bathroom and shower were clean. My neighbor's snoring came straight through the walls, though I probably gave it right back to them. The only thing that bothered me in the shower was an empty gel dispenser, with nothing but a bubble coming out. I used the shampoo instead, which had a different fragrance. Breakfast was the usual standard selection. Getting here was easy on and off I-81, even though Google Maps gave me confusing directions through parking lots. With digital keys, I could enter from the back, where the only parking spots were. Snow and ice clearing could've been better. I liked the lobby, which felt as welcoming as I've come to expect from the Tru brand, and the staff were great, including the night host, morning host, and breakfast attendant. Nice job, Tru of Winchester. I'll use the property again when I'm passing through, as I often do.

It was my first stay at a Tru by Hilton, in a second-floor double queen room. The place was clean and up to date, and the staff were friendly. I liked how simple but thoughtful it felt, with bright colors and little touches that made it work. The walk-in shower was spacious, had all the shampoo and body wash you need, and even had a small foot bar to help with washing. I'd definitely try Tru by Hilton again.

We stopped late at night looking for a room and were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. We're picky about that. The staff were great too, and we'd definitely come back.

The pool was nice, breakfast was great, and the lobby was a good place to relax or play pool and games. We did need garbage bags in the room, and the queen bed was really a full. That makes a difference with a big family. The staff seemed reserved, not very engaging or friendly. I'd still give it another try.

We found this place on Maps while looking for somewhere to stop on a trip along 81, and were so glad we did. From walking into the lobby to seeing the room, we were impressed, no, astounded. IM-STOUNDED! The room smelled wonderful, had no carpet, and was fine to walk around in barefoot. Glass shower doors in the bathroom, what?! If we weren't just passing through, we'd have stayed a few more days. Thanks, Tru!
