I rely on listed amenities when I book my own lodging as a flight attendant. After eight days on the road without laundry, I needed the guest laundry, not just a convenience. I chose this hotel over cheaper options and paid extra specifically because its website advertised a laundry facility. When I asked the front desk when it would be available, the answer was, “I don't know.” It's incredibly frustrating to pay more for something that's advertised but unavailable. Who wants a flight attendant wearing dirty clothes? Details like this matter when travel is your job.

We stayed about ten hours before a very early flight because we didn't want to drive in an ice storm and risk missing it. It was absolutely worth it. The shuttle was helpful and on time, and Peter at the front desk was very nice. The room was clean and adequate. Airport parking is $10 a day with a free shuttle, with the first two nights free when you stay and $10 for each additional night. For an early flight out of Bradley, it's an easy choice, and the parking alone makes it a great deal.

The airport shuttle was easy to use and came every 30 minutes. The rooms were updated, spacious, and clean, and the desk staff were friendly. I liked the separate sink area outside the shower and toilet. There were nice extras too: fresh water, coffee, and tea in the lobby, a good-sized fitness center, and full-size soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom.

A man entered my room without explaining who he was. He was dressed oddly, had no nametag, and I couldn't tell if he was staff or a guest. He said he was an engineer, but couldn't fix the tub issue. Having someone come in without clear identification or communication was concerning. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and weren't very helpful when I asked for assistance. I felt ignored, which made the stay more frustrating. The hotel needs to improve its customer service, organization, and professionalism.

The room was dark in the middle of the day, and the carpet smelled like it had been wet for a long time. There was also a strong, horrible temple incense smell. It was so bad that we left vomiting. At check-in, the woman was rude and gave us a lot of attitude. Before we even reached the elevator, we noticed a rat trap, dirt, and the smell of incense. I told her the smell was too strong for us to stay, and she told me to leave and said she was going to charge us for the night. So we left. The worst day ever.
