The shower in room 5 was a tight squeeze getting in and out, but the room did what we needed. The fridge looked like it had been used for target practice or knife throwing, and the A/C was missing its knobs. Still, after 12-plus hours out in the 100-degree Oshkosh heat and sun, cold air felt wonderful. We only need a bed and a shower when we're at the show from opening until well after closing, so this place works for us at this price and distance, about 15 miles from Wittman. We don't need four- or five-star accommodations. We've been coming for EAA for three or four years. I found the place on hotels.com a couple of years ago and keep coming back. In other years I rented the private house, but it was booked this year and next. I was disappointed, though I booked ahead for EAA 2026 before we left yesterday. I usually chat with the owners and regulars in the bar area at checkout, where reservations and boat gas are handled. They're really nice, and I haven't had the problems some other guests mention. One reviewer, Keiran I think, complained that the place was closed when they arrived. I had the same situation, but called ahead to say we'd be at EAA past closing. He, Michael I think, gave me the room number and said the keys would be inside, and they were. That would've saved you a lot of hassle.

The bar was okay at best, and there wasn't a restroom in it. You had to cross the parking lot to find one. The room was a joke: the refrigerator door looked like someone had thrown knives at it, the window A/C had no control knobs, and I wouldn't have showered there. We left for somewhere else. That was $100 completely wasted.

We had a reservation, and I'd called the day before to check that someone could let us into the room. Still, nobody was there when we arrived, and no one answered the phone that night. We found another hotel and stayed there instead. They gave me part of the money back for not staying, but when I called to ask for the rest, the person swore at me and called me names. Don't do business here.

The room was much larger than I expected, and it was really clean. The beds were comfortable, and our first night was quiet. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. We're here for the Packers Vs Titans Game, and I'm honestly blown away. You get a lot for your money, and I'm glad we stayed. If you're visiting from out of town and need somewhere to sleep, this place is a good choice.

I got the dates wrong and had booked July 21-26, though I thought it was July 21-27. While I was in Green Bay, the hotel texted to say our room was only booked through 10:00 on the 26th. I hurried back to Winneconne, got there by 2:10, and we packed up and left by 2:30. It was my mistake, and the staff couldn't have been nicer.
