Wildlife Inn

Not a bad hotel, and I liked the robes and the room’s size. It looked clean, but the carpet felt sticky, which wasn’t pleasant. We stayed for 3 days and they never cleaned the room. I even asked at reception, and the hotel worker said “ok” but didn’t clean anything. I ran out of napkins, toilet paper, cups, and clean towels, and the staff didn’t seem to care. For $100 a day I’d expect better service. If they’d cleaned the room, I would have liked everything, but as it was, only 2 stars.

The owner/operator was super nice, and the beds were comfortable with foam toppers. Our family suite, rm 18, had two queen beds and a pullout couch, though the couch didn’t have a foam topper. There was also a mini fridge and microwave. The room was comfortable despite being quite dated, and the linens were clean and smelled fresh.

The continental breakfast was disappointing, with very limited choices, so that’s why I gave it 4/5 stars. We loved the room, a King family suite with a leather pullout sofa. Both the pullout and the leather couch were very comfortable. The toiletries are our favorite hotel products by far, with a lovely orange scent, and even the body wash has pumus in it.

Comfy little motel. It’s an older building, but the rooms have been refurbished, and I liked touches like the hand-painted bathroom sink. Our room smelled like burnt hair, though it faded a little after I unplugged the hair dryer.
