We were on our way there when they called demanding another $160 for “cleaning,” despite Booking.com’s clear policy against outside charges. They insisted it was a normal resort fee and said we couldn’t stay unless we paid. When I refused, they claimed Booking.com had made an error and that we had to cover it. They lowered the demand to $110, then offered a full refund. After I still declined, they said they’d waive it “in the spirit of great customer service,” and added, in a creepy way, that they were “looking forward to meeting us.” It felt scammy and unprofessional, and left us feeling unsafe. A terrible response to what seemed like an obvious mistake in their listing. The unit was clean, but old, and the place felt very dated, with big angry signs everywhere telling guests what they couldn’t do.

Mary Lou and Melvin were especially kind and attentive to our family, making us feel at home and looking after the details throughout our stay. We held my brother’s wedding at the Silverado II event center, and the whole occasion was spectacular. The setting was warm and welcoming, the location worked well, and the space had everything we needed. Everything went smoothly. We’re already planning to return next year. Thanks for making the celebration so special!

I’ve owned here for a while, and it was AWESOME seeing the updates, including the condos. Marylou and Osbaldo were gracious hosts. A few minor things came up during our stay, but they were sorted out quickly.

Unit 131 was clean and comfortable, with recent updates to the beds and mattresses. Its location made it easy to get to town, shops, restaurants, and skiing. We had a really pleasant vacation, and it gave me a great first impression of Winter Park.

They charged us a $160 cleaning fee when we arrived, with no warning. After arguing back and forth, they charged us $100 instead. The ski locker key they gave us was bent and unusable too. Scummy. Don’t come here.
