We spent our anniversary at The Vintage and have no regrets. The Cabriolet is less than 100 yards from the front door, and shuttles also go from there to the resort area and lifts. Our kitchenette room had a two-burner stove, small fridge, dishes and utensils for four, pots, pans, cooking tools, and even a dishwasher. We made meals and saved on resort-priced restaurant food. The portions at the restaurant were good, and it wasn’t too overpriced. There was also a dining table with four chairs, a fireplace, and a TV. The beds were comfy and clean, the dresser and closet held all our things, and hot water for showers was never an issue. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and always smiling. We could use a locker for ski gear or whatever. We didn’t use the outdoor pool or hot tub, but walked out to see them. They looked clean and seemed to be enjoyed by the people using them. The place is family-friendly, animal-friendly, budget-friendly, and relaxing. It’s an older property, and could use some updating, but that’s part of what you’re signing up for at The Vintage. If you want plush, luxurious, top-of-the-line rooms, it probably won’t suit you. For a comfortable, clean stay with friendly people and a relaxing atmosphere, I’d book again without hesitation.

The front desk team made this stay comfortable and stress-free. Everyone I dealt with was welcoming, professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. They were patient, knew their stuff, and were ready to help with any question or request, which made me feel valued as a guest. Both check-in and checkout were smooth and efficient. I had a wonderful stay, would gladly return, and would recommend this hotel to others.

I had a great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I could need. The staff were easygoing, and I loved the hidden living room off the lobby, with good books and artsy DVDs. The outdoor hot tub is huge and divine.

The lift to the base area is right outside the door, and the location is great. Rooms are fine, though sometimes noisy and definitely not the most modern or updated. The front desk folks are always friendly. The elevator is slow, and parking is free if staying...

I’d love to give the staff more recognition, but I can’t remember all their names. Mackenzie and Dan, plus Jamaica and the Latina room cleaners, were especially memorable. After I forgot my Bluetooth speakers, they saved them and wrapped them in plastic until I came back. Everyone working weekends throughout November was spectacular and made my stays memorable. I’ve stayed at the vintage around 12 times over the last 3 seasons, in lots of different rooms. They’re always very clean and comfortable, with nice linens and pillows, fully stocked kitchens with tea kettles and blenders, and my favorite, gas fireplaces. The location is killer: the gondola to the mountain base is just yards away, the tube hill is a short walk, and parking is effortless. The pool and hot tub can be lively, but things quiet down after 10 pm. They allow dogs too, which I don’t personally care for, though plenty of others do. If you drive into Frasier, Safeway, an mmj store, and a little thrift store are about 10 minutes away. The town also has a stocked pond for fishing and, when it’s dry, a skatepark with bowls and ledges. I wish the Vintage had better on-site food, like hot fresh fries, tenders, or burgers. That feels like a missed opportunity. It does have a decent common area for hanging out and playing games. It’s family-friendly and a great value for my vacation dollar.
