There’s plenty of room, and my room was just right. The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast choices were really good. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, which makes the rest of this especially frustrating. Staff and management were rude and incompetent, and they even hung up when I called with questions about my stay. We were charged extra for pets without my consent, on top of an already overpriced room. Breakfast was disappointing: stale breads and other carbs, no protein, and a broken waffle maker. We waited 20 minutes for someone to make the waffle mix, and the coffee was cold because staff weren’t attending to the breakfast area.

I spoke with Annelie, but the general manager wouldn’t give her name. I canceled my reservation within minutes of booking, never checked in, and still got charged a $170 penalty. No services were provided, and I’m disputing the charge.

I was stranded by a nighttime snowstorm while passing through town, so I had to stay. My Thursday night room cost $150, which felt a little pricey, but I had no other option. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, with plenty of fresh towels and clean, comfortable bedding. Someone next door banged around in the evening and early morning, but I still slept well. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with coffee and cups, ice bucket, alarm clock, TV, wall desk/table, and lots of useful outlets. Breakfast was continental, with waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, bread and bagels, packaged oatmeal, coffee, and tea. In the morning I got a text about my stay and the option of a late checkout. I asked for noon so I could wait for the roads to clear, though I ended up leaving at 11:30. The morning desk clerk was concerned about me driving in the snow and kindly came out to help me maneuver through the parking lot. It was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend the place to people passing through or visiting on vacation. It’s right off Hwy 24, near a shopping center with a grocery store and a range of restaurants and shops, with a movie theater within walking distance.
