Hampton Inn & Suites Woodland-Sacramento Area

I turned up without a reservation after a long drive from Seattle, and the staff came through for me. The manager on duty that night was especially great. The hotel was quiet, the furniture was in good shape, and everything was clean. I recommend staying here.

Jaime got me settled quickly and into a comfortable, spacious king room. I was exhausted after a 16-hour drive from Casper, Wy., and she was a real gem. I’d arrived in Woodland at 8 pm, hoping to stay at the C... with coworkers who’d already been there three days, but the young woman there said I’d need to book online for a reasonable rate. I drove two doors over instead. Thanks, Jaime! :-)

For a long work trip, the room was a good size and pretty clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The location was convenient, right off the highway with a gas station nearby.

Breakfast had a nice range of choices and lasted a good while. I was glad to find a gluten-free option, an Udi's Bagel, though there wasn’t a dedicated toaster, which would be difficult to manage without close supervision. The hotel is handy for shopping, food, gas, and the freeway, and the atmosphere and staff were great. I was upgraded to a lovely suite that was clean and smelled wonderful, light but not overpowering. I’d love to know which Glade scent they use. The reason I booked this Hampton Inn was Jamie. At 3:00 AM on the morning of my trip, I cancelled another Woodland reservation after reading concerning reviews about that place, then switched here because people praised her. They were right. Jamie made me feel welcome and at ease right away, had lots of recommendations, and was helpful in every way. Her personality is fantastic. I hope she sees these reviews. When I told her she was why I booked, she was shocked and excited to learn people had written nice things about her online. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in the area.
