Comfort Suites Woodstock - Atlanta North

The public areas were clean, and breakfast had a good variety and was well stocked. Rooms are spacious and clean, but worn. The toilet in my non-ADA room was very low to the floor.

The staff were friendly and informative when we checked in late after driving for a few hours once work was over. Since it was past midnight, we checked the beds and went straight to sleep. Breakfast the next morning was decent for a hotel. Back in the room, though, we found what looked like spilled Advil or Tylenol all over the floor beside the bed, plus leftover food in the fridge and a dirty washcloth in the tub. I'm usually pretty chill, but cleanliness matters to me and I expected better. Staff took note and said they'd look into it. Everything else was okay.

One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in, with friendly staff and the usual breakfast choices. The bed, though, was hard and really uncomfortable.

HELEN and housekeeping stole my Gucci glasses, I believe. I checked out of room 211 and left them on the counter with my son's glasses. We realized almost immediately and turned around in less than 20 minutes. The room had already been stripped, and the cleaner was nowhere on the floor. My son's glasses were on her cart. When she came back, she said she hadn't seen my Gucci glasses, though I definitely left them there. The ladies laughed and spoke Spanish, making fun of me, I felt. I filed a police report. I was told there are no cameras in the hallways or elsewhere, only in the lobby and outside. The front desk woman, HELEN, was very rude and didn't seem to care. She refused to let me speak with the manager. The officer said he'd filed multiple previous theft reports for items worth 5k and up. It's a shame, after spending so much money here over the years while traveling for work, to be treated so poorly. Please be cautious.
