Amy and Joshua Mitcham welcomed us in such a professional, friendly way, and that made the visit special. My wife and I recently stayed at The Mountain Rose Inn, where every detail felt thoughtfully planned. The views are splendid, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. It was a gorgeous little trip through history.

We toured the old Inn and looked at the rooms, each decorated in a comfortable yet sophisticated style. The pool wasn't open yet, though it's a nice amenity. We were there on business and enjoyed our stay, and the professional Inn Keepers made us feel at home. We'd love to come back for a vacation. The Mountain Rose Inn is lovely for a special event or a stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with local shops nearby offering all kinds of unique things. Shelia's This & That in Stuart Va is about five minutes away, with antiques, primitives, vintage treasures, and Country Charm Event Rentals. It's a lovely choice for a wedding or special day.

We got caught in a bit of late-season snow, but Mike and Dora Jane were lovely when we arrived after the usual check-in time. We spent last night and this morning at the Rose Mountain Inn and had a wonderful experience. The Inn is carefully planned, with plenty of attention to detail, and breakfast was FANTASTIC! We'll definitely come back.

The house has a lot of fascinating history, and the wineries were fantastic. It's also one of the dreamiest places I've ever been. The house and grounds are lovely, making it a great quiet getaway. I'd highly recommend it, and I'm sure I'll return again and again.

The beds were super comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. We had a great anniversary stay, with a very friendly, helpful innkeeper. There are plenty of balconies with rockers, plus a pool, a fire pit with Smores, and a deck overlooking the creek right on site. They offer a discount to returning customers, and we plan to go again!
