Stone Creek Inn

For such a cheap price, I was pleasantly surprised by the new ceramic floors and showers. Everything felt clean and fresh. There’s a lot of road construction around the building right now, though.

The staff were the one good thing here. The photos gave me a misleading idea of what the room would be like. At first it seemed clean, but after my wife showered and walked across the tile, her feet were black with dirt. We were in room 39 by the metal stairs, and other guests stomped up and down them. That wasn't the inn's fault, but it was a bad spot. My poor son found roaches in room 47, so I’d avoid this place. Spend more for somewhere better.

I couldn't get a moment's rest because bed bugs kept biting me. The staff were rude, too. This hotel was a nightmare, and I'm definitely not coming back.

Nearly three weeks later, I'm still waiting for my refund, and I'm fed up with being given the runaround. I've tried reaching the manager several times. One associate said he was out of the country for three weeks; when I called again later, I was told he'd be in on Thursday. Clearly, someone isn't telling the truth. This is wholly unprofessional. I've called five times a day, and about half the time the line is off the hook. I'd strongly advise against staying here unless it's my absolute last resort. If I could give zero stars, I would.
