Summer Sands Suites

We'd been thinking about when we last stayed after writing my previous review. It was ten years ago, but that didn't matter. We were back at Summer Sands last week and stayed an extra night just because. The place was nice, clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and friendly staff. We were on the harbor side this time and got beautiful sunsets. There's easy beach access, and food and a coffee shop are close by, practically next door. The first floor is dog friendly, and dogs can be on the beach from after October until April, I think. We now snowbird to Florida, so we'll stop here on each trip. The price is reasonable. Updates came by text, and we used door key codes. If you're pulling a trailer, ask about parking options because space is limited. Thanks, Summer Sands and Sea Scape Properties.

I've stayed at Summer Sands around 15 times, and it's hard to find a better location. Shopping, the beach, restaurants and grocery shopping at ROBERTS GROCERY are all within walking distance. SEASCAPE PROPERTIES was helpful and fair, with the best rates, and they have dog friendly rooms too. Thanks to everyone at SEASCAPE PROPERTIES and SUMMER SANDS for a great stay. I'll see you soon. I had a lovely long weekend here. The suite gave us some extra room compared with a standard hotel room, so it didn't feel cramped when my parents came over from the room next door for dinner. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just steps from restaurants, the beach and the loop. My only complaint is that I could smell South Beach Grill from the balcony and then wanted to eat there every day! :)

I’m heading south for the winter and was looking for a place to stop, so I searched this one up again. We stayed about nine years ago, planning on only a couple of days, but liked it so much that we kept extending our stay. It got to the point where we were going to overlap with someone else’s booking. A woman there, I never got her name, said she’d move them to another room so we could stay. I’ve got fond memories of the place and am going to try it again.
