The one thing going for this place is that it was near restaurants and other necessities. We won't be back. Common spaces had stained carpet and filthy floors, and the tables stayed sticky the whole time. The coffee machine was broken. Our room floor hadn't been swept or mopped, there were used towels in the bathroom, and the bed sheet had a blood stain. When we asked for clean towels, we were told they were out.

I was 87 and in town from four hours away for my great-granddaughter's graduation, but poor maintenance left me looking for somewhere else to stay. The room was 83 degrees because the AC blew hot air like a heater. The manager offered $45 off if we could put up with it, even saying he would take the $45, but there wasn't actually another room available. I couldn't get my money back because I hadn't registered with the hotel itself. When I asked for help, the manager and someone I assumed was maintenance walked in without knocking, then FaceTimed an AC worker. They rummaged through our things looking for something to poke into a tiny hole in the unit, trying a safety pin and a paperclip, but nothing worked. A major weekend in the area doesn't excuse this, and I heard other guests had maintenance problems too. I can't recommend this place.

The bed and pillows were so comfy I wished I could take them home, and I slept like a baby. The whole place was spotless and smelled amazing, almost like Christmas when you walk in. Everyone was super sweet, and breakfast was delicious. This deserves five stars. Highly recommend! ☺️💗✨

The elevator made strange noises and gave us the feeling it might fall any minute. Breakfast was mostly overcooked, though still decent. In the room, the phone never worked, the bathroom door wouldn't properly close, let alone lock, and we had to ask the front desk for hand soap because there wasn't any.

We had a comfortable, quiet room at Holiday Inn Express Wylie, and the whole hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and professional, while breakfast was fresh and kept in good shape. I'd gladly come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the Wylie area.
