The bed was comfortable, and the sheets and linens looked clean. We stayed one night in a king room for under $100, so the price felt fair, though the TV had static. We checked for bedbugs before settling in and didn’t see any, and we didn’t experience any either. The room did feel damp even though the air conditioner worked properly. The bathroom sink was missing its soap, but we didn’t ask for more since there was soap in the shower. The sink cabinet door was broken off and sitting underneath, as another review had said, and the chair was stained. Hallways were dim and had the distinct smell other reviews mentioned. The door also seemed misaligned, with a gap, and its bolt wouldn’t lock.

I arrived today, and this is already making me wonder whether I should stay. There’s a strong, unpleasant sweat-like odor in the room, no working phone, and the bedside lamps are missing bulbs. I rarely post negative reviews, but this has been extremely disappointing for such basic needs. After using the towels that were provided, I asked for one more in the evening so I could shower. The staff said they had none and that I’d have to wait until tomorrow, when they might have more. Even after I insisted, they only offered to have me wait over 30 minutes in case one turned up. It’s nighttime and I still can’t shower because there’s no towel. That’s far below basic hospitality.

The only real plus is being close to the mall. The staff didn’t clean or restock my room or check whether I needed anything during my stay, despite their “third day rule.” I had to clean myself and beg for supplies and fresh towels. They live there and cook personal meals in the patrons’ kitchen and dining area. I’d arranged a late checkout for 30 minutes past the 11:00 checkout time, but at 11:04 a woman was banging on my door and yelling about checkout. No phone call, just banging. There’s nothing professional about this hotel or its staff.

The shared areas were dirty too, with trash and debris in the hallways and lobby. My room wasn’t much better: the floors were dirty, dust was visible on several surfaces, and the bathroom had hair in the sink and shower along with what looked like leftover residue. The bedding didn’t feel fresh, and I wondered if the sheets had been changed before I arrived. Housekeeping clearly wasn’t meeting a basic standard. From the moment I walked in, the lack of cleanliness was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they make significant improvements.
