Reading Vitality Hotel

We had our company dinner in a spacious, very nice venue, though I didn’t see the suites. The bar looked elegant, and the pool and workout room looked great. Inside, everything was clean and attractive except the ladies’ bathroom near the bar, which was worn and could use an update. It’s easy to get on and off the highway, with lots to do and places to eat nearby. I’d recommend it.

Goodnites, the nightclub by the lobby, was our favorite part, with live music, events, and plenty of cocktails. We also ate at Prime, which has a great wine selection. Chef Paul is the man! Breakfast was excellent, with an omelette station, and they even gave us a couple of vouchers at the super quick check-in. There’s a lot to do here, and we made good use of the pool and fitness center. Our room was quiet and clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful everywhere.

They took good care of us and were quick to respond, with excellent customer service despite what seemed like staffing problems. The room was clean, and we could bring our dog. I worried about the lack of an elevator to the lower level dog floor, since we had to make several trips carrying our things down the stairs. The pool area was clean, but the water needed to be warmer and our little guy got cold after about 20 minutes. The area also wasn’t well lit, with what looked like several burned out bulbs, and the clock didn’t work.

Everything was clean and orderly, from the room and lobby to the pool. The breakfast buffet was great, too. Staff were pleasant and helpful both in person and over the phone. We had a perfect stay from arrival to departure, and I’d come back without hesitation.
