We only needed a room for one night before an early event nearby, and it was adequate for that. The room was okay, though the bathroom had a missing tile. Getting there was less reassuring: the outdoor lighting was poor, the walkways had only been partly cleared of snow, and our first room had no smoke detector, so we had to move to another one. The day before we arrived, we got an email saying breakfast wouldn't be available because of a heating problem in the kitchen. Since we planned to leave early and eat elsewhere, it wasn't a major issue for us, but there was no apology or offer of a partial refund. It would have been frustrating if we'd counted on the advertised free breakfast. Other reviews make it sound like this happens often. They should remove the breakfast claim from the website, or at least have cereal and coffee available. Several things here need improvement.

The rooms were comfortable and cozy, and the ladies there were really nice. For a fair price, it's a good spot for a weekend away. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for that.

For $100, this place wasn't worth it. Broken windows had been patched with duct tape, the grounds were a mess, and the breakfast setup felt sketchy. There were just a few pieces of bread and containers of liquid, with none of the hot food the website promised.

The front desk clerk was very nice, and the area is rural. The motel itself looked scary, with several broken windows covered in tape. The room smelled awful. I'd asked for a non-smoking room, but it reeked of smoke; the beds sagged, and the carpet was disgusting. I left without staying. If you're traveling and need a quick rest, it might work. But as a woman on my own who needed somewhere for a week, I didn't find it desirable or up to standard.

The bedding had yellow stains that looked like pee, and the ice machine wasn't clean. Kids were banging on the door beside our room, and the windows were taped up. It felt more like a motel than a hotel, and I didn't enjoy the stay. I wouldn't come back or recommend it. Stay8 is where to check in.
