The Lighthouse Inn & Suites

The property is pretty dated, but for three nights we had a great time and didn’t need anything fancy. The rooms and amenities were clean and well kept, the area felt safe and quiet, and the pool was clean with towels available. We had no problems at all. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room worked well for my family of four. It’s not a five star resort, but it’s a great place for a family.

Our room’s condition was questionable, with very noticeable stains on the futon and what looked like minimal investment in the rooms overall. Expect motel quality: cheap blinds, a noisy heating system, a flimsy mattress, light covers, old furniture, and carpet. The inn is in a beautiful neighborhood, away from the highway and near a quaint beach, and the service was great. Thankfully, we only used it as a checkpoint. I would not recommend staying more than one night.

The rooms need renovation, and the beds are extremely soft. The window blinds are cheap. Nobody answers the phone, and return calls come a day later. Parking was cumbersome because the 15 loading rule wasn’t enforced.

The bathroom was dirty, and the rooms weren’t clean. The beds were terrible. There was stuff dripping down the walls, and the floors were covered in some unknown brown substance. The reservation was in my Sister's name, and I was on the list of quests.
