Morning Glory Inn

We only booked one night while in town for a wedding, before heading home, and now I'm sorry we didn't stay longer. The owner was lovely and made sure we had a good stay even for that short visit. Our room had a private deck with beautiful forest views, and sitting out there in the morning with coffee from a big mug was wonderful. Breakfast and coffee were available too. The whole little inn felt cozy and adorable, like sleeping in someone's old New England seacoast home. 10/10, must visit!

We had a wonderful time in Maine, and this B&B was a great part of it. Doug was a patient, fine host. In the renovated farmhouse there was a sitting area and a library, and our room was cozy, clean, and functional. Breakfast was really good. The wooded setting was quiet, with a lovely garden, and the location worked perfectly for my dad and me: near York village, harbor walks, beaches, and restaurants, but not too close.

We stayed with friends and spent so much time in the common area that it felt like we'd rented the whole house. Doug welcomed us when we arrived and was helpful and informative. Our Seabury room was spacious and clean, with a working fireplace and a very comfortable bed. The owners clearly put care into this charming little inn. It seemed a bit pricey for the off season, but we had beautiful fall weather, and a simple breakfast of pastries, coffee, and fruit was included. I'd definitely stay again.

The gardens are gorgeous, and the inn is charming and romantic. The owner met us at the door, explained the house, and pointed out places to see during our visit. Breakfast was a big bonus, and he makes fantastic coffee. Morning Glory Inn is adorable and a perfect place to stay. A great find.
