Jessica and Christopher have made the Grand Hacienda feel like a place for peace and stillness, as well as a five-star inn. I came for a self-directed writing retreat and found the quiet, beautiful setting I wanted, plus a lot more. I stayed in the Abiquiu Lake suite for its windows, and they were perfect. I wrote at the desk by the window, read in leather armchairs facing the glass doors, and took breaks on the portal. The views stretched from Abiquiu Lake to the Cerro Pedernal, and I got the unexpected treat of watching hummingbirds vie for the feeder. The landscape kept changing, with huge horizons I could have watched for hours. The Hacienda itself was just as lovely, with gorgeous rooms and rock sculptures throughout. The food was exquisite: each day's three breakfast courses were fresh, creative, delicious, and perfectly portioned. Some of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The hosts were warm and generous, and attentive to every detail. They gave great suggestions for exploring the area. Jessica also struck just the right balance between conversation and privacy. Thank you for such an extraordinary stay.

Jennifer took wonderful care of us during our two-day stay, and we wished we had more time. The inn felt both luxurious and comfortable. The views were stunning from our room, the great room, the patio, and the observation deck. Highly recommended!

Jessica and Christopher were exceptional hosts and made sure our needs were looked after throughout our stay. We had a delightful weekend at the Grand Hacienda, with two breakfasts and a dinner, all among the best meals I've had in NM. The place lives up to its Luxury and Gourmet titles. It's more remote and more expensive than other options nearby, but for us, the secluded, luxurious stay in such a breathtaking spot was well worth the extra effort.

Wow, this was one of the best stays we've had, in the US or abroad. The rooms were super comfortable, and the setting made the most of Georgia O'Keefe's natural surroundings, with panoramic views of the Piedra Lumbra basin and Abiquiu Lake. Jessica and Chris brought an incredible personal touch to the details in the rooms and food service. Full Gourmet meals, including three to four course breakfasts, afternoon tea, and dinners.

Christopher and Jessica were wonderful hosts, and their attention to detail made the whole evening feel just right. My husband has dietary restrictions, and they went out of their way to tailor delicious meals so he could enjoy everything without worrying. The food was full of flavor, with every dish thoughtfully prepared. The Grand Hacienda feels calm and grounding as soon as you arrive. The location is stunning and truly relaxing, a real escape. I've stayed in lots of places with my husband, but this has been the best by far. They also made me feel so special for my birthday, and it's a celebration I'll always remember. We can't wait to come back.
