That huge, colorful hot air balloon coming up behind the hotel at sunrise and taking off was the highlight for me, the ultimate Napa Valley experience. We live in Napa, but are already eager to return. The place is so cute that my husband laughed at how many photos I took. We’d wanted to stay here for ages because it looked cool, and the gorgeous rooms were even better than we expected. For the location and unique feel, the price is really affordable. Our room included a complimentary tasting at Cornerstone next door, which felt very generous, and we also got a discount at Model Bakery in the last train car connected to the hotel.

The text check-in was simple, and communication was prompt. We had a comfortable bed, enough amenities, and rooms cleaned every day. The location made getting around Yountville especially convenient. We loved our time at Railway Inn and will be back.

The train wagons make for a pretty cool place to stay, right in the middle of downtown Yountville. You’re surrounded by shops and restaurants, and it’s right next to the v market, with dining and shopping in an old winery built in 1870.

Rooms are clean and simple, and checking in was easy: they text you the door code once your room is ready. The location is hard to beat, with tons of restaurants and tasting rooms within walking distance. It’s a bit expensive, but compared with the other Yountville options it’s a bargain. Loved it here.

A really fun surprise for my wife and young son. We had a great stay, with an easy check-in, a great location, and large rooms that matched the description. Make sure to get an English muffin at the mini model restaurant in the first car, they were great!
