Budget Inn Yreka

After three nights in three different roadside hotels while driving from Washington to Central Valley, this was hands down the best. It was quiet, and unlike the previous two places, it had a coffee maker. There was also a full-size fridge with a freezer and a proper porcelain bathtub. The reception was friendly and quick. The place was clean and fresh. It isn’t beautiful, but it was extremely comfortable and practical. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The standout was the staff member, who was kind and thoughtful. He showed me where my room and parking were, accommodated my late evening check-in, and made the stay much better. The room itself was plain but well kept, with a quiet fridge that had a built-in freezer, a comfortable bed, and a quiet location at night. It’s serviceable, not fancy, so don’t expect the Ritz Carlton. I’ll stay again for the good customer service and a practical room.

Clean throughout, with modern rooms and amazing hospitality. The owner was attentive and accommodating. Best motel experience I’ve had, and about half the price of a Holiday Inn Express. I’d book here again.

The shower was my favorite part, nice and clean, and the room was comfortable and really clean, with great movie channels. The owner courteously showed us to the room and turned on the amenities. There was a strong soap smell, so we left the door ajar. The owner went about maintaining the grounds, which reassured us that the area was being watched. I’ll visit again.
