For the price range, this is a good option. Breakfast was decent, with enough hot and cold choices, though the selection wasn’t huge. The room was clean and simply laid out, which works for a night or two, but might feel austere for a longer stay. I prefer the vinyl plank flooring to carpet. The entry lights were odd: you had to insert your key card to turn them on, and there was no other switch for those lights. The card also didn’t control all the lights in the room.

I expected better cleanliness, safety, and professionalism from an IHG property. The floor was dirty, the AC didn’t cool, and when I raised everything with the manager on Monday morning, she minimized what had happened instead of offering a solution. After a 3-hour flight and then a 3-hour drive, we got there at 5 p.m. but couldn’t check in because the computers were down. We came back four hours later and were finally checked in, but still had no room key. The front desk attendant had to let us in every time and wasn’t courteous or helpful. That first night I couldn’t rest properly because I felt unsafe without a working key, knowing someone at the desk could accidentally open our room.

Everything about the hotel and the rest of the staff impressed me. The rooms are a bit small, but the bed and pillows are awesome, and everything is very new and nice. I would have given it five stars if one female staff member hadn’t been so rude to my wife from the moment they met. Other than that, five stars.

The service was great, and the room was clean, but it was very small and the mattress was hard. Foot traffic kept waking me up a few times during the night. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.
