The breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the staff made us feel like family friends. We spent a couple of nights here and found the rooms spotless, with decor that reflects the local culture. The place has a cozy, home-like feel, and it’s a lovely way to experience Zuni Pueblo’s history instead of staying at a generic chain hotel.

Cassie at the front desk was a wonderful ambassador for our stay, and the beds were comfortable. This charming, quirky B&B is right in the middle of Zuni Pueblo, with very friendly staff and the biggest breakfast menu I’ve ever seen. Blue corn pancakes? Wow. If you’re after Southwest Native American culture, food, and hospitality, this feels like the right place. Chain hotel fans may not find what they’re looking for here.

I wish I’d had more time here. The inn was beautiful, the breakfast was great, and the inn keeper's cats were adorable. Everyone on staff was very friendly. My only gripe was arriving late: the booking email could have explained better where to check in after hours, since I wasn’t sure where to go.

Breakfast was included, and we chose our meal the night before at the next door Halona Plaza Restaurant. It was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the price was very fair. There’s also a main living and dining room and a full kitchen with a coffee maker and fridge/freezer. The private bathroom was clean, though its door into another room was locked. We took a much smaller room in the one story building after turning down our spacious second floor room. I didn’t think we could get our luggage upstairs easily, and the building smelled strongly of cat urine. Several cats hang around the property and apparently visit that building. In our smaller room, the full size bed was pushed against the wall, so I had to get up whenever my husband needed to get by to use the bathroom. It was awkward, but manageable. There were too many rugs in the room and bath, and we kept tripping over them. This is apparently the only place visitors can stay in Zuni. They had sent clear directions after I booked, but I hadn’t read them, so we were confused before eventually finding the inn.

The front doesn’t look fancy, but out back it feels like an oasis. The hospitality was great, and we really enjoyed the conversations. Our room was small but nice, with interesting books and art. We ordered breakfast the night before, and it was very good. Try the blue corn pancakes. I’d definitely stay here again.
