It’s an easy walk to the town center and beach, and there’s plenty of parking in front and behind. The barbecue grills are in great shape, covered, and set up with tables, chairs, and a water tap right beside them. The rooms are comfortable, though a few feel a little small. Service is excellent too. There’s a gentleman who seems ready to handle anything, even helping out if you get stuck in the bathroom or drop something in the toilet.

The staff really stood out: Mario was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the real estate agency team was attentive and quick to sort out every request. The units themselves need some upkeep. The kitchen is missing items, there are loose wires, and the mattresses are completely worn down. Rooms are small too, so for four people traveling together I’d consider the six-room option. There’s a lot of potential here, and a small investment could make it a five-star property.

The manager was warm and attentive, and the apartment was bright and comfortable with everything needed for a stay. There’s also a spacious pool, plus a barbecue area and parking on site.

The people in town were so friendly, and the place itself had a lovely, peaceful view. I visited in 2017, when it was well equipped with a pool and grills. The town is beautiful too. Hope I can return soon. Beautiful Uruguay 🇺🇾.

Balconada Beach is only a short walk away, with several shops nearby as well. The staff were helpful, and the apartments are very comfortable with the amenities needed for a good stay. Upstairs units have ocean views, while the downstairs ones open straight onto the pool. A great option for a La Paloma vacation.
