The receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful, and none of the problems were their fault. But the room and facilities were a different story. The water never got properly warm, and I had to wash quickly. The bathroom sink overflowed with just the tap running and took hours to drain. Wi-Fi was painfully slow, so don't count on it for work uploads. The spa was barely warm either, nowhere near a hot tub. Prices feel like they're from a first-world country, while the infrastructure doesn't match. I'd look for better options before booking.

We almost let some reviews put us off, and that would've been a mistake. The rooms were clean, the service was friendly, and the heated pool was great for families. There's also a jacuzzi and gym, and breakfast was 10/10. Excellent service for the price. We left La Paloma and Hotel La Bahía very happy. Thank you.

The breakfast was awful, and the price is far too high for what you get. Apart from the pool, it felt more like a two-star hotel. The place is really run down: our curtains were torn, the blinds kept sticking, and there was a mosquito net left on the terrace outside our room. The hallways weren't very clean either, and the sauna water was filthy.

The maid service was impeccable, but I can't recommend the place. It was extremely overpriced for what it offers and nothing like the photos. The pool was closed, and there was no breakfast service. We knew breakfast wasn't included, but expected it to at least be available as an option. The spa was practically the only service operating, and only the jacuzzi was decent.
