Ron Apartamentos Duplex

The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the beach, with terraces and ocean views. The place is lovely, very well equipped, and excellent value for money. The complex is half a block from Ron! and has a nice patio and other activities. The pool is quite large, with a smaller one for children. Everything else was great, but it’s a shame the oven wasn’t working and they hadn’t told us. Highly recommend it.

The cottages are comfortable and cleaning is included. They’re very close to the sea, and bikes are available for getting around town. Excellent amenities, highly recommended.

The location was good, the staff were attentive, and the mattresses were comfortable. Still, there were quite a few problems. During the heat wave, we were all sweltering while trying to sleep, since there were only ceiling fans in the bedrooms and no air conditioners. At least one air conditioner should be provided. The bathrooms leaked and stayed wet and dirty from people walking through, and they had no ventilation. Even though there were two bathrooms, when one person showered, water wouldn’t flow to the other. The pool was cleaned only once during our six-night stay, and the water was cloudy with debris on the bottom. Daily cleaning was minimal.

Being only 100 meters from the beach, with a lovely ocean view, was the best part. The apartment itself was badly thought out: the bathroom had no ventilation, the roof leaked, and the children's beds were set up in a windowless, unventilated hallway. The balcony had a table and two broken chairs we couldn't use. They'd overbooked, so we had to stay somewhere else the first night.
