Apartamento Familiar Faro de Punta del Este - Edificio Cuatro Mares

I spent about a month at this hotel and would recommend it if you want somewhere quiet. It’s a little way from bustling Gorlero, but not too far. The beach and port are close, and the service was very good.

It’s a charming little hotel in a great spot. You can get away from the noise but still reach the Gorlero center, 21st Street, and the port when you want somewhere lively. Natalia handled our check-in and was lovely. Her full tour of the hotel was unlike any I’ve had elsewhere. There’s coffee and tea available all day and night, which was great for me. Breakfast runs from 7 to 11 a.m. and has fresh fruit, fig jam, cream cheese, ham, cheeses, and other treats. It’s quite good, though they don’t serve eggs. Virginia makes it, and the little coconut desserts she gave us were fantastic. Cintya cleaned our room whenever we asked, and it was spotless each time. She’s such a warm, welcoming person. I hope the staff see this, because they’re a fantastic team. The warmth they showed us was unexpected, and I felt a connection with all of them that I can’t explain. I’d return again and again. Virginia, thank you, you’re amazing ♥️

Natalie made our stay feel so cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was lovely in summer, with the air conditioning always on full blast. The rooms were very clean, and the whole hotel smelled great. The location is excellent and peaceful: it’s across from a square, near the church and beach, with local restaurants and shops a few blocks down. As for the showers, the water is heated by boilers. Just turn on the sink tap first, then the shower. Everything worked well, and a hot shower was guaranteed!

The breakfasts were delicious, and I felt at home throughout my stay. The service was top-notch. I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend! ✓
