The beach is right across from the apartment, and it's about an eight-minute walk to both the main street and the shopping center. We rented a small one-room apartment through Airbnb. It was perfect for a couple, and the kitchen was a good size for cooking meals.

Back in the '80s and '90s, everyone who spent summers at Spiaggia Brava loved this building. The neighbors had such a great atmosphere. Kids from the building would gather there, and children from fancier places came over to play too. We played hide-and-seek around the gardens, two garages, and two staircases, or tag with 20 or 30 kids. When someone shouted "chain!" we'd make human towers with our hands. I even went to Ring Rajé once!

I rented here because it's affordable, while newer buildings nearby offer more comforts. I like the layout, and although it's old, it's well-maintained and has good cross-ventilation. The beach across the street is very nice, with small waves that seemed perfect for children when I visited. It does have an elevator, which is very important. The only thing missing is a pool in the middle of the garden. Old doesn't necessarily mean classic.
