The included lunch and breakfast were a nice bonus, with fresh fruit and some good cakes. It's a few blocks from the main street, Sarandì, so the location is central, but the rooms sit far enough from it to stay quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a new mattress, air conditioning, cable TV, and a mini fridge. The shower had strong water pressure, and the receptionists and waitresses were generally friendly.

The place is decent and fairly clean, without any luxury, but it feels perfectly respectable. Breakfast isn't very varied, though it has the essentials. I only found out at 1 p.m. that lunch was included, after I'd already eaten somewhere else. Nobody mentioned that when I booked. I'd generally recommend it.

Santana do Livramento was nearly full, so I looked on the Uruguayan side and found this small, cozy hotel near the center, with a distinctly Uruguayan feel. I paid R$ 224,00 for one person, which seemed like very good value. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, and the closed garage felt secure. Breakfast wasn't as varied as in Brazil, but there were omelets, fresh cake, some fruit, espresso, and pasteurized juice. There's also a pizzeria and restaurant in the same building. I'd stay again and recommend it.

I'm at Petit a lot for work, and I really enjoy it. The people there are great and the service is fantastic. The bar food is always delicious.
