Sarhad Hotel

The owner’s sons took great care of guests, helping with breakfast and checking that everyone was all right. One of them even walked with me to show me the way to the Friday mosque, a gesture I’ll always appreciate. The family’s kindness and respect made the stay feel personal, and they offered us complimentary confectionary items when we arrived. This modern, newly built hotel is thoughtfully designed, from the decor to the fixtures, and the family clearly put a lot of care into making it comfortable and attractive. Breakfast had good variety, and the family kept checking if we needed anything. Across my travels in Uzbekistan, this hotel stands out for its customer service. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The team jumped in to help when I ran into an issue in the Old Town, even though it had nothing to do with the hotel. That kindness, along with the staff’s warm smiles, hard work at all hours, and local treats, made us feel genuinely cared for. Thank you to Ulug’bek, Hsilbek, Fotix, Dildora, and Ozodbek. My parents, boyfriend, and I spent two lovely nights at Hotel Sarhad. We stayed in the apartment room and deluxe family room, both spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The hotel is new, tidy, and well maintained, making it a calm place to return to. Although it isn’t right in the old town, it’s easy to get around from there, and Yandex taxis were simple to book. The team also recommended Joy and The Plov, and both restaurants were delicious. I spent a while reading reviews and choosing where to stay, and I’m glad we picked Hotel Sarhad. The owner and staff were wonderfully welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our time in Bukhara was memorable, and we highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is an incredible value for money, and I had a very restful time in Bukhara. My room was clean and comfortable, and the family-run place has a welcoming, helpful staff. It’s a newly renovated building made from an older structure, so it feels modern while keeping some old-world charm. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of intercontinental and local dishes. The location is far enough from Bukhara’s busy areas to be quiet and relaxing in the evenings, and the family and staff keep noise down at night. It’s still close enough to walk or take a taxi. You won’t regret staying here.

The location worked well for me, about a 15-minute walk from Bukhara’s old town along a safe, pleasant street, even in the evening. My room felt brand new, was spacious and beautiful, and was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean. The welcome was genuinely warm, from the professional reception staff to the lovely breakfast server who was always smiling and attentive. Thank you for the hospitality, keep up the good work.
