The breakfast buffet had a stellar selection, though it was odd that coffee wasn’t offered by default and had to be requested. The hotel Wi-Fi was good and free everywhere. The rental gear and lift tickets seemed fairly priced when I visited: about 80 USD for a three-day lift ticket and 10 USD to rent just a board. You could also rent the full gear, including jacket and pants. There are ATMs in the hotel building and the main ski lift building, where you rent equipment. The rooms, rather than the chalets, were really nice and modern. I could hear my neighbors talking through the connecting door, though. The hotel is also a little easier for getting to the lift than the chalets, which are a bit farther down the hill but still an easy walk. The rental place and ski lift are less than a five-minute walk away. It’s easy to get a Yandex to from the airport. The place appears twice on Google Maps, so head for the one up the hill. My Yandex ride had no trouble driving up from Tashkent airport. One driver told me he couldn’t go all the way to the hotel and dropped me at the main ski lift parking lot, but I could walk across the field to the hotel. It seems they have someone who can drive you the last few meters. I checked Yandex and myTaxi at different times. It could take a while, but I always saw a car and could book one easily. Crowds were much heavier on the weekend than on weekdays. Even then, I waited at most 10 minutes for the lift; on a weekday it was pretty empty. The ski resort is small, and the hotel is very nice, though spendy.

Daler was a great help with an issue in our booking. He was professional, sorted everything out smoothly, and really improved our experience. We had a great stay at Le Chalet Amirsoy. It’s beautiful, cozy, and very well maintained, with a calm atmosphere that’s lovely for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. We’d definitely like to visit again, and I highly recommend it.
The location is good, but everything else was meh. We paid for one night what three nights cost us in Tashkent for a high-end two-bedroom apartment in the best location, City Park. The beds were flimsy and sank when you lay down, making it hard to turn over. The pillows were like bedsheets. The worst part was having to pay for water. For four people, they gave us only 2 litres. When I asked why, they said the allowance was 500ml per person, compared with the 3.7 litres health professionals recommend. And that 500ml was for the entire stay, not each day. You could stay seven days and still get just 500ml. The restaurants were pricey, the service was awful, and they still charged a 20% service fee. Breakfast was worse than at a three-star hotel: a basic selection and slow refills. Toiletries were advertised as being from Amouage, but they were just basic ones. If you want to stay here, bring everything, including water and food.
A big thanks to Timur for the excellent service and warm hospitality. Le Chalet by Amirsoy is spotless and well maintained, and everything feels fresh. The surrounding views are stunning, with a peaceful atmosphere.
We stayed in a hotel room, not one of the chalets. The room was fine, as were the breakfast and location. At night, we could hear too much noise from the neighboring room, which was unpleasant. It was a couple in love. Hmmm.
