Naxshab Hotel

Breakfast was really good, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms feel luxurious, and for a three-star hotel it deserves its rating. One of the best in the city, and I'd recommend it to solo travelers or couples visiting Karshi.

Even though we had to leave very early, the staff arranged breakfast for us. They also carried our bags up and made sure our bikes were secure. They went out of their way to help, so I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is modern inside, well located, and serves excellent food. It seems clear the owner treats it as a personal passion. I have no complaints about the other employees, but Shahzod, the reception manager, has put us off booking here again, even though we're frequent visitors to Karshi. Management should look closely at how he works and whether he should stay in this role. We arrived at 11:15 a.m., left our suitcases in the lobby because check-in was at noon, and went out. We checked in at 5 p.m. After spending two days in Karshi, we were charged for three days at 245,000 soums per day, a total of 720,000 soums. We and the other receptionists explained the situation, but Shahzod insisted on that amount and spoke rudely. We don't know why. As we took our bags out, he asked for tips in dollars even though we hadn't asked him for that kind of help. We and the other receptionists settled the correct amount and paid, but then he refused to give us a receipt for the hotel services and wouldn't let the other receptionists provide one either. I believe this is a serious breach of Uzbekistan's tax law, usually done to hide income. Thank you to the rest of the staff for your honest work.
