Family Guest house - Friends-J

There’s an excellent Turkish restaurant across the street, and the price here is very reasonable. The rooms are basic but have what you need, including WiFi, a bathroom, and towels. It’s a good option for a short visit or one night in Nukus. I’m not sure how often this happens, but the morning we left there was no electricity or water.

A comfortable bed, air conditioning, and private bathroom made the small, simple room a good place to stay. The guesthouse is very well located, near good restaurants, close to the museum, and two blocks from the bazaar. There isn’t much sound insulation. Drinking water, tea, and coffee are available all day for free. The price on Booking was the same as if you just turned up.

The location is handy, right by a couple of museums and near some good cafes and restaurants. The room was clean, though the WiFi didn’t quite reach it; the connection was good in reception. The staff were really lovely, helpful, and kind. They helped us arrange shared taxis to Moynaq and then to Khiva the following day.

We only stayed one night. There are just dorms, but during our visit each guest got a room to themselves. The owner was super nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Everything was spotless. Breakfast cost an extra $3, and it was easily the best we’ve had in Uzbekistan so far. Really recommended!
