Aziz Hotel

My three nights at Hotel Aziz were wonderful, and waking up just steps from so much history made the trip even more special. It's close to Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siyob Bazaar, and Registan Square. Zafar, the son of the family, was especially kind and warm. He made me feel at home, answered all my questions, gave great recommendations, and shared insider tips on things to do in Samarkand. The family-run hotel had a clean, cozy room with excellent air conditioning, a lifesaver in the summer heat. Each morning I had a delicious homemade breakfast with fresh local flavors. Thank you to the whole family for such a memorable stay! Hotel Aziz is welcoming, comfortable, and well located, and I'd love to come back one day. I can't recommend it enough. 🙏🏽

The staff are very friendly, and the location is great, though parking is difficult. It's not expensive, and that's also what you get. I wasn't very satisfied with my small room, which had nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. The mattress was unfortunately very hard, and the bedsheets weren't very clean. It was noisy, but at night it was pretty quiet everywhere, so sleeping wasn't a problem.

The guesthouse was charming, and the staff were friendly. But I had trouble sleeping because my room was near the street, with constant outside noise from kids playing and people talking. The walls also seemed thin, since I could clearly hear other guests in the hallway and neighboring rooms. If you're a light sleeper or value peace and quiet, please consider that. Otherwise, it was okay. It's a few steps from major tourist spots like Bibi Khanym mosque and Registan Square.

The hosts were kind and really helpful, and breakfast was fresh and great. The location was amazing too.
