The location made it easy to explore, especially Registan Square, which was within walking distance. Anwar and his family made us feel at home and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. It’s a charming, budget-friendly guesthouse, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a really nice stay for the price. The family guesthouse is cute and well placed, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous each morning. The two sons were friendly and helpful, and spoke good English.

The family were lovely and very helpful, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s great value and close to the main square and sights.

The landlord was helpful both times we stayed. On our first visit he drove us to the train station in the middle of the night, and on the second he helped us find a taxi to Dushanbe. The place itself is clean, quiet, and has a lovely inner yard. Most of Samarkand’s main sightseeing spots are a 10-20 minute walk away. We had a wonderful time on both visits, and would book here again if we return to Samarkand.

The breakfast had fruit, vegetables, pancakes, jams, cheese, ham, and other treats. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the host family were welcoming and helpful. They spoke English and Russian. Guest House Firuza is just a few steps from Registan, the main sight.
