The team made a strong impression with service that was warm, professional, and attentive. I also liked the wellness facilities and the scenic setting near the canal. Our room was spacious, very clean, elegantly furnished, and felt like a quiet retreat. Wellness Park Hotel Bactria combines comfort with modern luxury, and I consider it a top choice for a comfortable, sophisticated stay in Samarkand.

The complimentary detox water at reception was a nice touch, and the local snacks were delicious. Mushtariy at reception was especially helpful and attentive. Wellness Park Bactria was the best hotel we stayed at.

I’m posting this because M&A, the lounge and bar, doesn’t even show up on Google Maps. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had anywhere, including Uzbekistan. The steak came out completely overcooked, and on top of that, communication was awful, prices were ridiculously high, and service was just bad. If minus ratings were possible, I’d give one.

The place was very clean, and it has a toilet with a bidet. There’s a nice view, plus a fountain, spa, and gym with a cold boot.

I chose this hotel after comparing its all-inclusive price with the Hilton. The booking experience disappointed me: the tourist tax appeared only in small print on the hotel website and wasn’t shown anywhere on the booking page.
