Yasmin Guest house

We ended up here because of a booking mix-up at another hotel, so we weren’t expecting much. The owner and the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s family-run, and the family is very nice. The hotel is named after the owner’s daughter, by the way, and it’s close to Samarkand’s old town. Breakfast is good, though it’s all cold food. The breakfast area is spotless and guests can use it at any time. The owners were also very attentive. They offered to wash our clothes and brought them back clean and ironed. The rooms are bright and clean, with very good air conditioning. The beds are a bit hard, though that seems common in Uzbekistan. There’s a lovely rooftop terrace, but we couldn’t use it because it was a little cold when we visited at the end of March. It’s a relatively new hotel, and I’d recommend it.

A charming, very clean and comfortable family-run place. It’s in the old city, which makes it handy if you enjoy getting around on foot. Highly recommend staying here.

The staff were the highlight for me, so kind and nice. Breakfast was good, and my room was great and very clean. The hotel isn’t right in the center, but some of Samarkand’s points of interest are still within walking distance. I really enjoyed my stay.

A lovely family guesthouse with great hosts and extremely clean rooms. Registan is about a 30 minute walk away. Great value, and I highly recommend it!
