I wouldn't book here. I confirmed my stay a couple of days before arrival, after booking well in advance, but then they said there was a technical problem with the hot water and sent me to another, awful hotel. Luckily I hadn't paid in advance, so I walked out and found somewhere else. It seems like they may overbook as a regular practice. In my case, the alternative hotel pitch only came after they checked my passport: they said it was just as good and would cost the same. I had enough data, time, and money to sort things out, but this could be really upsetting for someone in a tougher situation. Not a great first impression of Uzbekistan.

There's plenty nearby, including good restaurants, and the neighborhood is quiet. The metro is about 15 minutes away. Someone is at reception around the clock, and the service was good. The rooms were nice, though sound insulation could be better. I'd recommend it.

I loved the room, and Aco Art cafe has amazing food. They say they serve vegan food, but some dishes contain eggs and milk, so they aren't all vegan. As a pure vegetarian, I'd still recommend it to vegetarians. Finding vegetarian food in Uzbekistan is difficult, and there are good options here for dinner, so you don't have to search elsewhere. Breakfast is included with the stay. I also caught a music concert at the cafe, with an amazing performance and great energy.

We booked months ahead, but when we arrived they said there was no room because a big group was staying. They hadn't contacted us or given us any warning. Judging by how casually they handled it, this seems normal for them. They offered another hotel in their group, either one with a very poor 2.9-star Google rating or one on the other side of Tashkent. We managed to find another place ourselves, but this looks like a pattern. If you don't want to be scammed, stay away. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

Our booked room wasn't available when we arrived, apparently because they were overbooked, as other reviewers have described. The alternatives they offered were either poorly rated or far outside the city. That's unacceptable. We found a different hotel, which was the right decision. Don't book here or at another hotel in this group.
