Art Residence Hotel

The hotel isn't very central, but using a taxi app made getting around convenient. I had a great stay: the room was excellent, the staff were friendly and spoke several languages, and breakfast was quite good. I'd highly recommend it.

The property itself is nice, clean, attractive inside, and in a good location, and the room was large. But service was really poor. We booked through Booking.com because the room description clearly said “two separate rooms.” On arrival we got one large room instead and were told the listing was wrong. To get the suite that matched what we'd booked, we had to pay more and go to their sister hotel. The pool also cost extra, $25 for an hour. There were four of us but they gave us only two towels and told us to get the rest from the room. The breakfast buffet was huge, but nothing we tried tasted good. The photos do match the nice physical space, but management and service were bad.

At least the rooms were very clean. They were small, though, and the reception staff seemed indifferent and unprofessional. We went downstairs at least four times to get the key card changed because it wouldn't open our door, and the code changed every day. Breakfast was very mediocre. Young athletes staying for sporting events made the hallways noisy.

We stayed with family in a family suite at Art Residence Hotel, Tashkent for two days in Dec 2024. The rooms were spacious, heating worked well, and there was hot water in the washroom. Breakfast had an excellent variety of dishes, and the staff were polite and helpful. We had a very comfortable stay at Art Residence and highly recommend it.
