Great pool and an outstanding continental breakfast. The staff were terrific, helpful, and wonderful. PERFECT in EVERY WAY. The BEST!!!!

We stayed for two nights in May 2025. The room was beautiful and had fabulous views, and the grounds were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant beach is only a five-minute walk away, though there aren’t many other amenities close by.

We could get advice on local shops and restaurants whenever we needed it, thanks to the approachable, helpful staff. The kitchenette had everything we needed for a short stay, and the beach was a short distance away. We also liked the quiet location and how spotless the entire hotel territory was. One thing to keep in mind: our room’s air conditioner didn’t work, but opening the windows and using a fan kept it cool enough. Nearby shops only have dry or canned food.

The cottage was our favorite place to stay during a month of island hopping. We booked it for five nights and were so happy with the choice. It’s spacious, fully equipped, and nicely decorated, with a lovely terrace just a few metres from the beach. We could happily have spent the whole day relaxing there. Cilla was a perfect hostess and did everything she could to make our stay nicer. The main drawback was the neighbour’s tiny dogs, which barked incessantly on a few of our nights. The area is very pretty, but groceries mean a trip to Port Elisabeth, since the few very small shops nearby carry only some basics. A taxi there costs 30EC. You can walk in about 30 minutes, though it means crossing a steep hill and sharing the road with bus drivers who drive like crazy. There’s also a shortcut to Princess Margaret Beach and then a board walk into town, but poor visibility makes that inadvisable after nightfall. Bequia is a dream, and the people are the loveliest. Be sure to visit.
