It must have been an amazing place many years ago. Now it feels like a monument to that luxurious past. Sad to see it this way. Welcome back to 1970.

The views are beautiful, the food is great, and service is wonderful, with reasonable prices. But maintenance is suffering because of the country's lack of resources. We had only two light bulbs, and one kept going out. There was no hair dryer, the TV worked only sometimes, and barely any water reached the top of the shower head. This used to be the best hotel around and the place everyone went. A group from France recently bought it, so I hope it can soon get back to its rightful glory.
