I still wish I could be there right now. My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights back on February 25-27, 2015, when she was still my girlfriend. The hotel was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of quality amenities. There was a restaurant in the same building, something like “La Loca,” and I remember it as some of the best food I had in South America. Maybe we'll make it back someday, though I’m not sure how safe it would be for a German-American man like me, a “Catire.”

The king suite we stayed in was really nice, with a full private balcony. The place is packed with art by Venezuelan artists, and the service felt attentive and friendly. It is a little expensive, but I loved the experience. Such a nice place!

The location is nice, and it's a lovely little boutique hotel with a great room and a beautiful restaurant and bar. It felt overpriced for where it is, especially with dollar prices and service that wasn't as good. The food wasn't great when we visited, though that may have changed since.

I was going to dinner at the hotel restaurant with my wife and parked in the hotel's parking area. Security then told me, with a very bad attitude and an unpleasant appearance, that I couldn't enter the restaurant through the hotel. The hotel policy seems to be not to let you in that way, so I had to take a dark, dangerous alley to find my reservation.
